The Avellano Lodge is located in Village of Ayacara, a remote area of great beauty and quiet place of the Northern Chilean Patagonia. The family run ecotourism lodge has capacity for twelve people. Our family has been on the Comau or Huequi Peninsula for four generations, and the lodge has been working for thirteen years.

We offer varied tourist services, primarily nature tourism and fly fishing programs. Also we offer adventure travel activities and expeditions to the nearby mountains and all the attractive places on the peninsula such as: hot springs, volcano trek, jungle hikes, rain forest flora observations, horseback riding, bird watching and fauna watching, sea kayaking and sea boating. We serve home made regional meals and arrange ethno-cultural tours and cultural activities.

At the "El Avellano Lodge" we offer personalized service to our guests. Our lodge is located in an estate of 60 hectares. It has access to the local road, sea beach and a small port.

El Avellano Lodge it is surrounded by rain forest, beautiful creeks and meadows by the Pacific ocean. We raise animals such as ewes, lambs, hens and pigs. We grow our own vegetables, potatoes, apples and we produced natural honey. We can offer a delicate, assorted and healthy gastronomy, with accent in regional taste meals!

We like very much nature and our environment so we have a nonsmoking lodge. In the Anywhere indoors it is not allowed to smoke. If you want to smoke we have a designated place outside the lodge, at the deck where you can smoke beside a special ash tray.
